Expressing the true spirit and enthusiasm of Hawai´i by welcoming each cruise liner as she arrives at the Port of Honolulu.
Aloha Boat Days is a Hawai'i registered non-profit committee. Upon arrival, the committee currently provide coordinated greetings to welcome visiting cruise ships with dockside salutations and festivities for arriving passengers. There were 77 cruise ships over the year in Hawai'i for the year, 2007, compared to 64 the previous year. The number of cruise ship passengers visiting grew 20.6% to 501,698, according to the state Department of Business, Economic Devlopment and Tourism. (Hon Adv. C3 2/4/08)
